Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise by music journalists and press. She's recorded a variety of well-known covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that are widely loved. Katy Perry's praise for her track Runaway in a blog post brought the singer additional appreciation. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding a piano in her attic and becoming enthralled by the sounds it would create. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music as a passion rather than as a job. In order to do so she started writing her own songs that were her own creations. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love of Bjork's style. When her mother told her that the songs she composed might not be famous for her, but instead to inspire people to see the importance of their work and influence on our world at large, she began playing them on stage. Her mother suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize the importance of their work and how they impact the world. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family until she was fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never her dream. Aurora claims she loves writing songs. For her, music is the most effective method to experience anything.
